Iraq votes in parliamentary elections despite violence

Iraqi voters have gone to the polls for the country's first parliamentary elections since American armed forces withdrew three years ago.

Security was tight, with Iraq gripped by the worst sectarian violence for years - 160 people have been killed during the past week and 10 on polling day alone.
