Gaza doctor claims there's a 'lack of basic drug needs'

Dr Homan Abu-Elwan, a Doctor for Medecins du Monde, has said "there's a lack of basic drug needs in Gaza".

In a report he sent from Gaza for BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast he says "we need action or intervention".

More than 630 Palestinians and 30 Israelis have been killed in the past 15 days of fighting, officials say.

The UN's office of humanitarian affairs says Gaza is so densely populated that there's no place to hide from the continuing Israeli military offensive, which is aimed at halting the fire of rockets into Israel by Palestinian militants.

Officials say 637 Palestinians and 30 Israelis have been killed during the crisis.
