Palestinians have been taking part in demonstrations across the West Bank and in Jerusalem to protest against events in Gaza.

At least two Palestinians were killed in clashes and many others injured in fighting at the Qalandia checkpoint between Ramallah and Jerusalem.

Palestinian leaders have called for a day of anger on Friday.

Meanwhile, the death toll in Gaza's fighting has continued to rise, with over 800 Palestinians and 33 Israelis killed since 8 July.
