Mark Regev: Israel 'wants peace and quiet'
As a 12-hour humanitarian truce takes place in Gaza residents have been gathering supplies and officials say more than 80 bodies have been recovered from amid the rubble.
Israel has described the temporary ceasefire as a humanitarian window but said it would continue operations to destroy tunnels used by Palestinian militants.
Government spokesman Mark Regev said Israel was ultimately seeking "peace and quiet".
