UN school in Gaza hit by Israeli tank fire

The United Nations says Israeli tank shells have hit one of its schools in Jabaliya in northern Gaza.

Palestinian health officials have said that at least 15 people who had taken shelter there have died.

The Israeli army says it is investigating the reports.

At least 1,200 Palestinians and 55 Israelis have been killed since Israel launched its offensive on 8 July.

Simon Clemison reports.
