Gaza conflict: Israel refuses to negotiate while 'under fire'

Talks in Cairo have been under strain as Israel says it will not negotiate while "under fire" from Hamas rocket attacks.

Reports say that Palestinians are considering a fresh 72-hour truce, which may revive hopes of a longer ceasefire.

Israeli airstrikes have continued, and according to health officials three people were killed in Gaza.

An 11-year-old Palestinian has been shot in the West Bank in "unclear circumstances", according to Palestinian officials.

Kevin Connolly reports from Gaza.
