Islamic State: What does Egypt bring to international coalition?
Newsnight's Mark Urban spoke to Sameh Shoukry, Egypt's foreign minister, during the UN General Assembly in New York.
Most of the conversation focused on the current threat to Middle East peace posed by the rise of Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria.
Mr Shoukry insisted Egypt could play a key role in the international coalition formed against IS, even though the country is not contributing air support or troops on the ground.
