Has Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi been wounded?

A coalition airstrike hit a gathering of Islamic State leaders near Mosul recently, and there were reports Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was there.

It has not been possible to confirm whether or not he was at the meeting of IS leaders, but the extremist group have said that he was not.

However Iraq's defence ministry reported that he was injured in the attack.

They also confirmed that his deputy Abu-Muslim al-Turkmani was killed in the air raid.
