Israel reburies ashes of British WW1 commander

The ashes of John Henry Patterson - a soldier, big-game hunter and writer, who died in 1947 - are to be reburied in Israel after a state funeral attended by the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He gained hero status in Israel for leading Jewish fighters during WW1, becoming a passionate Zionist.

His reburial is the final act of an extraordinary life, which has inspired three Hollywood movies, as Kevin Connolly reports.
