Freed al-Jazeera reporter Peter Greste leaves Egypt

Egypt has freed and deported the al-Jazeera journalist, Peter Greste, after 400 days in prison.

The former BBC correspondent has flown to Cyprus where he is expected to travel onto his native Australia.

He was jailed along with two of his colleagues, Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed.

All three denied the charges against them, which included the charge of spreading false news.

Orla Guerin reports from Cairo.
