Jordan's king in show of solidarity after pilot murdered

King Abdullah II has visited the hometown of a Jordanian pilot murdered by IS militants to show solidarity with his family.

The monarch's visit to Karak was a "symbolic gesture to console from the very highest level", the BBC's Jim Muir said.

Lt Moaz al-Kasasbeh was seized after crashing during a bombing mission by the US-led coalition over Syria in December.
