The battle for Tikrit: Concern for Iraqi civilians grows
There is growing concern for the plight of Iraqi civilians, as government forces continue their efforts to retake the city of Tikrit from Islamic State militants.
The United Nations has sent convoys of relief for thousands of people thought to have been displaced from the besieged city.
The Iraqi army's offensive began earlier this week, but the advance has been slowed by roadside bombs and booby traps.
