Iraqi teams exhume mass graves of soldiers in Tikrit

Forensic experts in Iraq have begun exhuming some of the mass graves in which Islamic State (IS) extremists are believed to have buried the bodies of up to 1,700 Iraqi soldiers.

They were massacred after IS took control of the city of Tikrit, north of Baghdad, last year.

Government forces finally recaptured it last week.

Paul Adams reports.
