Yemenis hope for end to hostilities in Sanaa

Yemeni people in the capital of Sanaa explain how the ongoing conflict is destroying their city and affecting their daily lives.

Houthi rebels have taken control of much of the country, ousting the previous government, and fighting is ongoing between them and forces loyal to the previous regime.

Saudi Arabia, who fear Iran is aiding the Houthis to extend Shia influence in Yemen, have launched airstrikes against the rebels.

Negotiations are under way to find a way to stop the fighting but have not yet proved successful.
