Jordan lifts ban on 'taboo tackling' Lebanese band Mashrou' Leila
A Jordanian official has said a Lebanese band with a gay lead singer is no longer barred from playing a concert.
Mashrou' Leila was told earlier this week that it could not perform in Amman on Friday evening because its songs "contradicted" religious beliefs.
But late on Thursday, Amman's governor said authorities no longer objected.
The band's guitarist Firas Abou Fakher spoke to the BBC.
