Dozens killed in Iraq attack as IS claim responsibility

At least 35 people have been killed in a bomb attack at a Shia shrine in the Iraqi town of Balad.

A gunman and suicide bombers stormed the shrine, and so-called Islamic State has claimed responsibility.

It comes days after 292 people were killed in the worst single bombing in Baghdad since the fall of Saddam Hussein 13 years ago.

Jeremy Bowen reports.
