Battle for Mosul: Iraqi troops come under sustained fire

Iraqi government troops are coming under sustained small arms fire as they enter Mosul for the first time in their offensive against so-called Islamic State.

The BBC's Ian Pannell, who is embedded with the troops, says they are now facing much stiffer resistance than they have encountered so far in their approach to the city over the last two weeks.
