Former Somali pirates' hostage recalls his captivity

An oil tanker has been hijacked by suspected pirates off the coast of Somalia, reports say, the first such hijacking in the region in five years.

Armed attackers boarded the tanker and forced its Sri Lankan crew to change course towards the north eastern Somali coast.

In 2008 Colin Freeman went to report on the pirates operating off the Somali coast and ended up as their hostage.
