Delhi Games village 'is filthy'

The Commonwealth Games Federation has asked the Indian government to take urgent steps to improve conditions at the athletes' village in Delhi, describing them as filthy.

New Zealand, Scotland, Canada and Northern Ireland have demanded their teams be put up in hotels if their accommodation is not ready, say reports in the Indian media.

The Chief Executive of the Commonwealth Games Federation, Mike Hooper, says urgent work is needed.
