Has NATO learned from Afghanistan's history?

The coalition fighting in Afghanistan is the latest in a long line of foreign interventions in the country.

30 years ago, the Soviet army was forced to retreat and before them came the British, the Persians and many others.

George Alagiah has been to Panjshair near Kabul to find out whether NATO has learned the lessons of history.
