Struggle to live for India's poor
The rural poor have been hit the hardest as India struggles to keep inflation under control.
To make things worse, the government recently introduced a controversial new way to measure poverty which does not recognise many low-income people as poor.
To get a real sense of the challenges farmers face, our correspondent, Rajesh Joshi went to live with one family in Gevra village in Bundelkhand, Central India.
