Space Shuttle Endeavour's final landing

Nasa's Space Shuttle Endeavour returns to earth for the last time after completing its final mission.

Endeavour has landed at the Kennedy Space Center after 19 years of operation.

It will be retired along with the rest of the shuttle mission due to be scrapped later this year.

Nasa hopes to replace the costly programme with commercially funded carriers to transport its astronauts back to the International Space Center.

Space Shuttle Atlantis will be the last shuttle to launch from the Kennedy Space Center in July.
