Obama: Republicans 'won't budge' on budget deficit

A special congressional committee has failed to reach agreement on how to cut America's vast budget deficit.

The so-called Super Committee, made up of six Republicans and six Democrats, said it had been unable to bridge differences between the parties after two months of talks.

President Barack Obama accused the Republicans of failing to listen to reason.
