The race to become the Republican nominee for the US presidential race intensified Tuesday with voting taking place in the New Hampshire primary.
The front runner Mitt Romney, a former Governor of the neighbouring state of Massachusetts, won in Iowa last week and he is tipped to triumph in this latest stage of the process.
But the voters of New Hampshire have a record of upsetting the conventional wisdom, as the BBC's Paul Adams has been finding out.
