California city bans public Christmas decorations

Decorations in a Californian city's beach-front park have been banned as a result of a row between atheists and Christians.

Palisades Park in Santa Monica was famous for its life-sized Nativity scenes until atheist groups started displaying signs with anti-religious words.

Los Angeles reporter Michael Linder told BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast how the row started.
