US shooting: School gunman had four weapons

Police investigating the mass shooting at Sandy Hook school in Newtown, Connecticut have confirmed that the gunman had four weapons.

Lt Paul Vance from Connecticut State Police Department said the main weapon used was an assault rifle.

The gunman, who has been identified as Adam Lanza, had two other guns with him, and a fourth was found in his vehicle.
