Obama: 'These tragedies must end'

US President Barack Obama has been visiting Newtown, Connecticut, to meet the families of the victims of Friday's school shooting.

20 children and six women died in the assault on Sandy Hook school by a lone gunman who then killed himself.

President Obama addressed the congregation at an inter-faith vigil.
