Newtown shootings: Gun debate gathers pace
As the first funerals are held for the victims of Friday's mass shooting in Connecticut, President Barack Obama has been meeting members of his Cabinet to discuss how America's gun laws might be changed.
The killings in Newtown appear to have changed the minds of pro-gun US senators, Mark Warner and Joe Manchin, lending more weight to the debate on gun control.
The BBC's Ben Wright reports from Washington.
