Bush carers 'cautiously optimistic' over treatment plan
A spokesman for former President George H W Bush says doctors are "cautiously optimistic" that he will respond to treatment.
Mr Bush, 88, has been in intensive care with a fever since Sunday, it has emerged.
Speaking outside the hospital where the former President is being treated, Jim McGrath, said three weeks of bronchitis had weakened him.
