Snow eases off in north-eastern US

The north-eastern United States is beginning to recover from one of its biggest winter storms in living memory.

The fierce blizzard has left at least four people dead, and five states in the region have declared a state of emergency.

Half a million homes and businesses were still without power early on Sunday morning, while flights and road networks remained severely affected.

Rajesh Mirchandani reports from New York.
