Boston bombing suspect's body returned to family

The body of one of the Boston marathon bombing suspects has been claimed by his family.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, died after a gun battle with police during which he was run over by his younger brother as he fled the scene in a vehicle, police have said.

Meanwhile the suspects may have been planning to target Independence Day celebrations in the US on 4 July according to US media.

Officials have suggested their plans changed when they finished making explosive devices sooner than planned.
