US teen develops musical talent after head injury
A tone deaf US teenager recovered from a concussion to find he could play thirteen musical instruments.
Lachlan Connors from Denver, Colorado, was hopeless at music in his youth, but suffered a number of concussions playing sport.
The teenager told BBC Radio 5 live's Up All Night that after the accident he would "just kind of pick up" instruments and play them - including the guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and the bagpipes.
Dr Spyridon Papadopoulos who treated Lachlan, said the ability was in his brain the whole time, but only showed itself after "rewiring" following the concussions.
