Light winds help ease California wildfires

After destroying nearly 20,000 acres of land in the San Diego region, firefighters have finally gained some control over the Californian wildfires that started on Tuesday.

Calmer winds have allowed aircraft - including four air tankers and 22 military helicopters - to be deployed to fight the flames.
