Michael Brown death: Obama calls for 'transparency'
President Barack Obama has called on local authorities in Ferguson, Missouri to be transparent in their investigations into the death of Michael Brown.
The black teenager was shot dead by police over the weekend, sparking several days of protests.
President Obama said that there was never any excuse for violence against police, but that the authorities should not restrict the right to peaceful protest.
