How many million dollars for an old Ferrari?

A rare 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO once owned by famed racing driver and Olympic gold medallist has sold for $34.65m ($38.1m including fees).

The sale at an auction yesterday in Carmel, California, during Monterey Car Week is believed to be a record public auction price for a classic car.

The Ferrari was acquired by young Italian enthusiast Fabrizio Violati 49 years ago, in 1965.
