Obama on Sotloff beheading: 'We will not be intimidated'

President Obama has paid tribute to American journalist Steven Sotloff who was beheaded by Islamic State militants, and said the US would "not be intimidated".

Mr Sotloff, 31, was abducted in northern Syria in August 2013. Mr Obama described him as a "devoted and courageous journalist".
