Thousands flee as US wildfires rage in California

Thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes in northern California after a wildfire burning out of control doubled in size in just 12 hours.

The blaze - known as the 'King' - is the biggest of 11 fires, in what officials describe as the worst wildfire season on record.
