Presumptive US Senate Majority leader McConnell 'to end gridlock'
Gridlock in the US Senate is set to end, according to its presumptive Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
At a news briefing following resounding Republican mid-term victories, he said "we have an obligation to change the behaviour of the Senate.
"We're going to go back to work and actually pass legislation", adding that Democrats were "anxious to be relevant again".
