Eric Garner death: Protests across US after no indictment

The demonstrations have been mostly peaceful but thousands of people have expressed their anger about relations between the police and African-Americans.

US Attorney General Eric Holder says charges will be brought against the NYPD if a federal investigation finds they acted unlawfully.
