Tornado: State of emergency declared in Mississippi

Authorities in Mississippi have declared a state of emergency after a tornado tore through the south of the state.

Four people have been killed and thousands have been left without power.

Forecasters say more rain, sleet and snow is expected for the east coast of America.

Travel chaos is predicted during one of the busiest times of the year.
