Barack Obama: Britain and US 'taking out' Islamic State fighters

Britain and the US are to share expertise on preventing radicalism and tackling domestic "violent extremism".

President Barack Obama was joined at the White House by David Cameron, and hailed him as "great friend" of the United States.

He said they had reviewed their coalition's progress against Islamic State and that they were "systematically taking out their fighters".
