US snow: Boston transport still frozen

Piles of snow have been dumped in waterways as parts of the north-east of the United States struggle to cope with heavy snowfall.

Much of the Boston area's public transport network has been shut down and many schools remain closed.

The weight of snow has also caused roofs to collapse.
