Congressman pays back 'Downton Abbey' decor costs

An American congressman has had to pay back $40,000 of public money after re-decorating his office in the style of the period television drama Downton Abbey.

Aaron Schock, a rising star in the Republican Party, had faced questions over the cost after pictures of the new decor were widely circulated in the media.

Mr Schock insists he has never seen the television series.

Naomi Grimley reports.
