Oklahoma police shooting: Video shows shot man selling gun

Footage has emerged showing a man who was shot by a white police officer after apparently mistaking his gun for a Taser, trying to sell a gun.

Robert Bates, a 73-year-old volunteer sheriff's deputy, shot Mr Harris during an undercover weapons sting, and has now been charged with manslaughter.

A video filmed on 2 April in Tulsa showed Eric Harris, 44, being chased and brought to ground before he was shot.

Alastair Leithead reports.
