Cincinnati Zoo defends gorilla shooting

The director of a zoo in the United States has defended the shooting of a silverback gorilla, after a four year old boy fell into the animal's enclosure.

There have been protests at Cincinnati Zoo, but staff there insist that critics are not in a position to make a judgement about what happened.
