Orlando shooting: Obama meets survivors and families

US President Barack Obama has privately visited survivors and the families of victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in which 49 people died.

Speaking after laying flowers at a memorial for the victims in downtown Orlando, Mr Obama said that the gun control debate needed to change.
