'Sharks have been misunderstood for centuries'

Photographer Brian Skerry has been taking images of sharks for more than three decades. His work is now featured in a exhibit at the National Geographic Museum in Washington, DC called SHARKS: On Assignment with Brian Skerry.

He tells the BBC the creatures are more majestic than menacing.
