#BBCtrending: Why are men wearing the hijab in Iran?

In Iran, it's against the law for women to leave their hair uncovered in many places.

Last week, we reported on a Facebook page where Iranian women are defying those restrictions and posting images of their uncovered hair online.

The same day as our report, a backlash began - with a rival Facebook page attacking those women, and other sites making fun of the hijab issue.
