The row over Chile's 'abortion tutorials'

Video guides on how to have an "accidental" abortion have gone viral in Chile.

The instructional videos claim to show the extremes women go to in order to terminate a pregnancy in the country. But they are in fact campaigning videos.

They have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times and added to an intense debate about the country's policy on the issue.

At the moment Chile is one of a handful of countries worldwide where abortion is illegal without exception. A draft law proposing to grant abortions in some cases is currently being considered by lawmakers.
