Skype and Microsoft heads explain tie-up

Steve Ballmer and Tony Bates, chief executives of Microsoft and Skype respectively, say their recently announced tie-up is all about communication.

Speaking to the BBC, the Mr Ballmer (left) promises "new capabilities and new features".

His Skype counterpart promised any worried customers that "nothing's changed" with the core service they receive, as company becomes a division of the US software leviathon.
